SEN Teacher
Location – East London
Contract – Flexible working (Term-time Only)
Start date – ASAP
Pay - £140 - £180 per day
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm
We are looking for a passionate Fully Qualified SEN Teacher to help support schools in East London, working with various needs and providing support and interventions. This is a flexible role; the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of schools, and you will have the ability to book work that will suit your schedule.
All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Support students with varying SEN needs, providing tailored support and interventions based on individual EHCPs.
* Plan and deliver effectively differentiated lessons.
* Establish constructive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
* Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
Requirements:
* Fully Qualified Teacher – QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent qualification.
* Currently hold Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one).
* Right to Work in the UK.
* Experience managing challenging behaviours, adapting approach to individual behaviour support.
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions as well as experience working with a range of complex needs.
* A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.
* Leadership experience managing a classroom.
