An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a national contractor on a freelance basis with a social housing refurb background. You will be managing kitchen and bathroom refit schemes around Walsall so travel between locations is crucial.
The scheme is due to start early January 2025.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and oversee the dayto-day operations
* Organise and manage subcontractors on site
* Implement and enforce health and safety practices, adhering to SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) guidelines
* Being the first point of contact for the client and subcontractor
* Travel between sites across Yorkshire including Bradford, Doncaster, Sheffield etc.
* Meeting clients and managing their expectations
Requirements:
* You must have direct experience in social housing, local authority or similar housing association refits
* Possession of SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card qualifications
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
* Exceptional communication and problemsolving abilities
