Job Description Senior Supply Chain Manager (Facilities Management Category) Leading Property Management Company Our client are specialist property management and advisory organisation that provide Facilities Management and Workplace services to some of UK’s largest property owners and occupiers in the UK. Having grown significantly in 2023, both organically and through acquisition, they are now seeking to recruit a senior supply chain manager to lead supply chain management activities as part of the larger Procurement Team Main Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities The successful post holder will be responsible for the strategic management of an extensive FM supply Chain, encompassing Hard and Soft Services suppliers/contractors and consultants. You’ll take the lead with the strategic relationship management of suppliers consisting of Facilities Management sub contractors delivering services such as Cleaning, Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance, Lift Maintenance, and Security services. You’ll also identify, and implement controls and measures to mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, execute formal performance improvement measures for under performing suppliers. and implement new processes and procedures to improve the performance of service delivery. As with all Supply Chain Management position's this role will also involve a great deal of communication with internal colleagues and stakeholders. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, and ideally experience of Facilities or Construction Supply Chain Management with a bias towards services, and not material/goods. You’ll have excellent analytical, stake holder management, and communication skills, and should ideally be working towards MCIPS qualifications.
