Role & Responsibilities:
1. To support the shift manager in leading the shift team
2. To lead and support a maintenance team (electrical/mechanical)
3. To support, as required, scheduled repairs according to the manufacturer's recommendations
4. Diagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults
5. Where required support, prioritise system faults
6. To accurately record all work undertaken
7. Continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities
8. Adherence to the Quality processes and procedures
9. Demonstrate strong communication skill-sets with 3rd party client or direct client.
Qualifications:
1. ONC OR HNC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering OR BTEC Engineering or Engineering Apprenticeship or BSc or MSc
2. Experience in previously managing a team (desirable)
3. A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, & Electronic technical manuals & drawings
4. Basic knowledge of PLC equipment
