Are you an experienced SEN Tutor passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with ASD, ADHD, and Dyslexia? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled tutor to provide tailored support to learners across Buckinghamshire.
About the Role:
As an SEN Tutor, you will assess, plan, and deliver individualised schemes of work to support students with diverse learning needs. Your role will be to create engaging, structured, and personalised learning experiences that help students build confidence and achieve their full potential. Sessions may take place at students’ homes, in schools, or online, depending on the learner’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess students’ needs and learning styles to develop bespoke learning plans.
2. Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual SEN requirements.
3. Implement effective strategies to support students with ASD, ADHD, and Dyslexia.
4. Monitor progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods as needed.
5. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
6. Work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure holistic support.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, and Dyslexia.
2. Ability to assess, plan, and deliver individualised learning programs.
3. A relevant teaching qualification or extensive SEN tutoring experience.
4. Strong knowledge of multi-sensory teaching approaches and behaviour strategies.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
6. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
7. Own transport is desirable, as some students may require home tuition.
