Position: HR Administrator part-time (maternity cover)
Salary: £23,000 to £26,000 according to experience
Part Time: (60% preferred; 21/35 hours per week, equivalent to 3 days), 12-month contract.

We are seeking a HR Administrator to provide essential support to the HR team. You will play a key role in managing HR and payroll administration, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring our processes run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing accurate employee records across shared systems.
2. Overseeing holiday and absence records, ensuring entitlements are calculated correctly and tracking all absences.
3. Keeping our training matrix up to date, alongside booking training courses and gathering the necessary certifications.
4. Assisting with payroll by administering overtime and time off in lieu while supporting the team to ensure monthly reports are completed.
5. Creating job adverts, posting them on relevant job boards, assisting with shortlisting, and coordinating interviews during recruitment drives.
We are looking for an experienced administrator with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ideally, you will have experience in HR or Payroll administration or a desire to expand your experience in this field. Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising with employees and external providers, as well as confidence in Microsoft Office. Experience of using bespoke software packages, such as a HR or Payroll system, is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
This is a fixed-term contract until December 2025 to cover maternity leave. We support flexible working and are open to considering an alternative arrangement of the hours. Please let us know your preferred working hours in your application.
