This could be the role for you…
The role
Part of a team of consultants and project managers, as a Business Systems Analyst you will understand requirements, map processes, and assess how best to deliver these through either our existing products and services or developing new solutions. This could be through a variety of software solutions (both standard, core products and bespoke, innovative solution designs) and providing customer consultancy and support, ensuring processes and documentation are up to date and fit for purpose. In addition, you will deliver training, both internally and externally. Heywood is a fast-paced environment producing new software modules on an ongoing basis. You will be involved helping shape and test these products, ensuring they meet specific requirements.
Your main focus areas will be:
* Process mapping – review existing processes and propose enhancements or new processes to aid our customers with their pension administration
* Requirement gathering from the customer – gather and analyse customer requirements and produce proposals to meet those requirements
* Implementation of projects and change requests – plan and schedule work
* Production of training materials and delivery of training to customers
* Deliver software support – assist Service Desk with customer incidents
* Maintain and improve processes and procedures
* Produced test plans and scripts execute testing on new releases
* Presenting at demonstrations, user groups, webinars, and testing parties
* Technical analysis – identify areas for bespoke SQL scripting or database reporting
