Senior Business Analyst (Hybrid)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Design and support business solutions.
2. Understand and interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Develop a strong understanding of the end-to-end reporting processes, including production critical path and dependencies on associated business processes, to identify gaps and opportunities for improvements and then specify changes.
4. Ensure adherence to development standards to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions that are robust and scalable where necessary.
5. Coordinate and document the acceptance and understanding of all stakeholders including the vendors with the Business Requirement Document.
6. Gain detailed understanding of current capabilities, gaps, and opportunities for streamlining efficiencies and improving customer experience.
7. Help create competitive differentiation for Popular Inc.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration.
2. Deep knowledge of teller/branch transformations.
3. Deep knowledge of teller/banking processes.
4. Deep knowledge of digitalization.
5. Nice to have: knowledge of UK banking regulations/compliance.
6. Proficient in planning discovery activities, mapping business processes, eliciting requirements, and writing user stories.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly in Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
8. Excellent knowledge of Scrum, Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and technology such as Jira and Confluence.
9. Salesforce implementation experience across the whole Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is a plus.
10. Experience in managing projects and cross-functional initiatives is a plus.
11. Experience working with development teams is required.
