Senior Housekeeper
Are you a seasoned housekeeping professional with a passion for leading and developing a high-performing team?
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Housekeeper to join our leadership team in the Housekeeping department. You should have evident leadership skills, financial aptitude, and awareness of health, safety, hygiene and cleaning standards. You will be supporting the housekeeping team of room attendants, porters, laundry and linen attendants and overseeing the general operation. Our Senior Housekeeper is required to manage their team according to the Shangri-La values ensuring each team member is focused on delivering Shangri-La guest experience.
* We are seeking an experienced and reliableSeniorHousekeeper to lead and oversee dailyhousekeeping operations.
* The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of managing a team ofhousekeepers while ensuring that our standards of cleanliness and hospitality are met consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and trainhousekeeping staff to ensure proper cleaning techniques and procedures are followed.
Oversee the cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities.
Manage inventory and ensure the proper stock of cleaning supplies and linen.
Perform regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are upheld.
Assist with managinghousekeeping staff.
Address guest requests and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate departments.

Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals, and how to use them safely.
Ability to train and mentor junior staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
