What's involved with this role: Temporary PT HR Advisor – Human Resources Reference no: Bournemouth 5257846 Pay Rate: £17.12 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 20 Wednesday – Friday Role Length: This opening assignment is for 4-5 months City: Bournemouth, Dorset Hybrid working but must attend BCP sites in accordance with business need. Candidates must be able to travel, using public or other forms of transport where they are viable, or by holding a valid UK driving licence with access to own or pool car. The purpose of the role is to work closely with other HR colleagues and across services to monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice Key Responsibilities: Proactively manage and deliver employee relations casework Provide professional advice on all aspects of employee relations including absence management, grievance, disciplinary and performance management, escalating casework where appropriate Develop and maintain good working relationships with Trade Unions to resolve individual cases and effective consultation on people related solutions Develop effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations across the organisation Coach, train and develop managers in good practice employee relations knowledge & skills Qualifications: CIPD qualified. Skills & Experience: Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation. Experience in data analysis complex and contentious queries. Ideally be experienced in the delivery of strategic HR programs, Rewards Schemes, Compensation & Benefits. Experience and knowledge of dealing with complex HR cases to include grievances, disciplinaries and absence management. Understanding and proven application of policies and procedures. Previous experience of working within a Human Resources environment. Ensuring we are compliant with processes and procedures Excellent skills at relationship building and communication with key stakeholders. Ability to advise on all HR policies and procedures. Ability to collate and present information in a clear manner. Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
