Salary: £22.25 - £23.50 per hour
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with day shifts only. Some supernumerary time, but may need to cover RGN shifts as required.

Role Overview: As the Villa Manager, you will have day-to-day responsibility for the leadership and effective operation of a 34-bed villa, ensuring that all care staff deliver high-quality, compassionate, and responsive care. Your role will be critical in maintaining compliance with health and social care regulations while optimizing the villa's financial performance.
You will manage staff, ensure adherence to policies, and provide a safe environment for both residents and staff. The success of the Villa Manager will be evaluated annually based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, staff turnover, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maximizing Occupancy: Maintain an annual occupancy rate of 95% and achieve 100% of the standard room tariff each year.
* Staff Management: Limit staff turnover to 20% annually, ensure sickness absence remains below 5%, and maintain 100% roster compliance.
* Compliance and Regulations: Demonstrate thorough knowledge and adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Ensure the timely completion of audits and implementation of any necessary remedial actions.
* Risk Management: Maintain a safe environment by minimizing incidents, accidents, and falls. Ensure 100% on-time submission of formal notifications and display awareness of critical risk controls.
* Reputation Management: Strive for high ratings from external evaluation bodies, including Carehome.co.uk and CQC Inspections, with a focus on receiving positive feedback and maintaining high levels of satisfaction (80% or above) from residents, families, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in managing a care home or similar healthcare facility.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
* Excellent understanding of health and social care regulations, including CQC standards.
* Ability to manage financial targets, occupancy, and budget effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
