We have an exciting role for you Retail Business Analyst
The Role
As a Retail Business Analyst you will be required to act as a liaison between the business and its tech department. In this role you will breakdown business requirements into system functional requirements, drive and facilitate workshops with stakeholders from across the Supply Chain business.
Key responsibilities:
* Investigate business situations involving complexity and ambiguity, conduct AS-IS, To-BE and Gap Analysis.
* Conduct root cause analysis and identify recommendations for improvements.
* Undertake short-listing of solution options and feasibility / impact assessment.
* Conduct project discovery and define and manage scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for initiatives of various sizes and complexities.
* Establish requirements baselines or backlogs, obtain appropriate agreement to requirements and ensure traceability to source in collaboration with Product Owner.
* Prepare used case based on the business process model and functional requirements to handover for development.
* Develop acceptance criteria related to functional and non-functional requirements, business processes, features, user stories and business rules and support UAT.
* Implement stakeholder engagement/communications plans.
* Collect and use feedback from stakeholders to help measure the effectiveness of stakeholder management.
* Facilitate workshops with higher Business Stakeholders to conduct demos and obtain business sign-off ahead of development.
* Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
* Strong knowledge of the retail business and supply chain domain.
* Good experience of purchase order and supplier ordering systems.
* Experienced in planning to model activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and architecture
* Analytical thinker and problem-solving attitude
* Experience in using tools such Jira and Confluence.
* Considerable understanding of Agile framework, such as Sprints, backlog, planning and refinement meetings.
