The role The University is seeking two experienced leisure professionals to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the University of Bristol’s Swimming Pool and Coombe Dingle Sports Complex. The Supervisors will lead a shift team of duty staff to ensure the efficient, effective and safe utilisation of the facilities and deliver an excellent customer experience for students, staff and external customers. Shift details: Swimming Pool Supervisor (35 hours) Monday 5:30 - 14:30 Tuesday 5:30 - 12:30 Wednesday 5:30 - 12:00 Thursday 6:00 - 13:00 Sunday 7:30 - 15:30 Sports Centre Supervisor (14.5 hours) Friday 06:45-13:45 Sunday 13:00-20:30 What will you be doing? Working a fixed shift pattern you will be responsible for lifeguard, and customer supervision, and ensuring the facility is operating in a safe, and efficient way, delivering a brilliant service. You should apply if You will have exceptional customer care and communication skills and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm and passion in helping members achieve their goals. Significant experience in working in a leisure environment, preferably with wet side experience. Swim teaching and Trainer Assessor experience will also be an advantage. Applicants will need to demonstrate develop both teamwork and hard work in order to deliver a fantastic experience for all our students, staff and community users whilst adhering to our Health & Safety policies.
