Our client, an independent specialist college, is recruiting for a Director of Finance to join their team based at their main site in S21 and other sites.
This Director of Finance position at Landmarks College is a crucial role within the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The primary responsibilities involve providing strategic financial guidance, managing financial operations, overseeing ICT resources, and ensuring the financial viability of enterprise activities.
Responsibilities
* Guide SLT on financial strategy.
* Manage external audits.
* Develop financial policies and controls.
* Lead annual budgeting and reporting.
* Ensure accurate payroll processing.
* Conduct financial analysis.
* Ensure regulatory compliance.
* Identify and mitigate financial risks.
* Lead fee setting and invoicing.
Information and Communication Technology
* Develop and implement ICT policies.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Maintain high-quality ICT infrastructure.
* Oversee ILR data submission.
* Analyze college-wide data.
* Implement an ICT strategy.
* Generate reports for stakeholders.
The Archer, Public House
* Oversee The Archer's operations.
* Ensure budget performance.
* Line manage staff.
* Effective communication.
* Contribute to organizational strategy.
* Support audits and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in a leadership position at a comparable educational institution.
* Experience conducting audits.
* Knowledge of charity finance and accountancy procedures.
* Ability to manage close relationships with external stakeholders.
