Hours:
7:30 am to 4:15 pm (Monday to Thursday) and 7:30 am to 11:30 am (Fridays).
Flexibility on these hours can be offered, including the option to work part-time - please reach out to us to discuss.
PAYE Pay:
1. First 12 weeks rates:
o Core days: £18.09p/h PAYE or £20.72 including holiday pay
o Overtime over 37hrs: £27.13p/h PAYE or £31.07 including holiday pay
o Sundays: £36.17 PAYE or £41.43 including holiday pay
2. After 12 weeks rates:
o Core days: £18.65p/h PAYE or £21.35 including holiday pay
o Overtime over 37hrs: £27.95p/h PAYE or £32.02 including holiday pay
o Sundays: £37.27 PAYE or £42.69 including holiday pay
Desired Skills and Experience:
1. Training or Experience: Apprenticeship or equivalent training is ideal, but we'll consider hands-on experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
2. CNC Expertise: Proven ability in CNC operations, with preference given to CNC Turners.
3. Sector Experience: Aerospace or other regulated industry experience is a plus but not required.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and recording results using SPC data collection.
5. Measurement Tools Knowledge: Experience with Vernier calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, and screw plug gauges. We operate a wide variety of equipment, including Mori Seiki, Fanuc Robodrill, Matsuura, CNC Lathes, Mill Turns, Conquest HT42, and Alpha machinery and Grinders.
Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and meet ITAR compliance standards.
