We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work at an outstanding school in the Milton Keynes area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process, making a positive impact on the educational experience of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher, providing targeted support to individuals or small groups
Contribute to the creation and adaptation of resources, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of students and support the school's curriculum objectives
Assist in the assessment of students' progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and teachers. Help implement strategies to address areas for improvement
Support the maintenance of a positive and inclusive classroom environment by implementing the school's behaviour management policies consistently and effectively
Provide support to students with special educational needs or additional learning requirements, adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about educational best practices and contribute to a culture of learning within the school
Qualifications and Requirements:
HLTA qualification or equivalent is essential
Previous experience working in a similar role within a school setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
A commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children
