Tenant Liaison Officer Location: Crook Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working on a social housing refurbishment project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective communication between tenants and the organisation, minimising disruption, and supporting tenants throughout the refurbishment process. What you will be doing: Act as the primary contact for tenants, addressing queries and concerns regarding the refurbishment works. Conduct property visits to discuss upcoming works with tenants and assess any special requirements. Work closely with contractors, project teams, and housing officers to schedule and coordinate works. Keep tenants informed on schedules, expected disruptions, and available support, ensuring transparency throughout the project. Address issues, missed deadlines, and tenant complaints, ensuring problems are resolved efficiently and tenants remain informed. Maintain accurate records of tenant communications and feedback, escalating concerns where necessary. Support tenants who may be challenging or resistant to works, providing reassurance and practical solutions. What you will bring to the team: Previous experience in a Tenant Liaison Officer role Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with challenging tenants and diverse communities. Ability to handle complaints, resolve conflicts professionally, and manage expectations effectively. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
