The Customer Research Assistant role is designed to support the Market Insight team by delivering regular insights to the wider business. This role involves supporting both quantitative and qualitative research to understand customer and consumer needs and wants, ultimately helping to shape the company's strategies and offerings. The Role An exciting opportunity has come up to join the Market Insight team within the Marketing department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a strong interest in both quantitative and qualitative research consumer research; from receiving a brief from our internal customers, through to the conducting of the research, and finally concluding with the insight delivery. Be a part of a team that is expected to grow during 2025 as the business focuses more on putting customer centricity at the heart of its decision-making. As a Customer Research Assistant, you will work closely with the Customer Research Lead to understand consumer and customer behaviour and preferences across online surveys, as well as virtual focus groups and interviews. You will strive to ensure insights are effectively communicated in a clear and storytelling format, whilst be offered exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to act as an insight champion in a customer-centric environment. Moreover, there will be ample opportunity to further develop your research skill set, both via coaching and mentoring within the team, as well as external training. The Responsibilities
* Support on the creation of survey / focus group / interview transcripts and guides
* Support the moderation and data collection via focus groups / interviews
* Build and test online surveys via our survey platform provider
* Analysis research data to create and deliver insight reports to key stakeholders
* Assist the Customer Research Lead across the administration and maintenance of the Admiral Customer Research Panel
* Creation and maintenance of research email communications via Adobe
Strong numerical and analytics skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Knowledge of research methodologies and techniques (e.g., survey writing, data analysis).
* Familiarity with online survey platforms
* Confident speaking and presenting to stakeholders of various levels of seniority
* The ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and manage time effectively
* Good written and verbal communication skills using storytelling to highlight themes to inform and influence business decisions / stakeholders
