Your Engineering experience working in the Navy or working as an engineer within the defence industry will make a real impact.
You will be working on a vital Royal Navy Equipment support programme.
This role will be working with the Master Record Data Centre MRDC Team who are responsible for the managing and maintaining the Surface Ship Definition Database (SSDD). The SSDD contains millions of records relating to RN and RFA Ships. The service ensures the capture of all necessary data and that SSDD is kept relevant and easily accessible.
There can be significant impact on-board if SSDD data is not kept current as its information is required to coordinate all maintenance, repairs and upgrades to the Fleet effectively. It is therefore vital that the MRDC is provided with timely and accurate source material, e.g A&A Installation Solutions, End of Support Period Reports, Drawings and Parts lists in order to maintain up to date information on changes to Ships Fit.
You will be playing a key role in the delivery of submarine projects for the Royal Navy.
