As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Venue Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial to supporting our mission and ensuring we maintain a steady flow of venue bookings across the UK. Role Overview: As the Senior Venue Coordinator, you will oversee the performance of a team of Venue Coordinators across the UK, ensuring they meet their targets and deliver excellent results. You will be responsible for delegating tasks, providing day-to-day support and guidance, and monitoring team performance to ensure high standards are met. Additionally, you will undertake strategic research to identify high-traffic venues, both free and paid-for, that have the potential to partner with LHL and develop and nurture relationships with venue owners, managers and key stakeholders. This is a field-based, home-working position, meaning flexibility is key. You will be required to build professional relationships with local businesses and organisations to secure venue bookings for our sales teams, contributing directly to the success and growth of the charity. Key Responsibilities: Oversee a team of Venue Coordinators, delegating tasks and providing ongoing support. Monitor team performance, offering guidance and resolving any issues that arise. Conduct strategic research to identify high-traffic venues across the UK with potential for LHL's fundraising efforts. Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with local businesses and organisations. Take the lead on venue booking, ensuring consistent and timely availability for our sales teams and managing any venue issues. Maintain accurate reporting and administration, using Microsoft Office tools effectively. Oversee the accurate and timely recording of all venue bookings and sales data, ensure that the Venue CRM system is kept up to date and accurate, providing reports and updates. Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of LHL by ensuring a steady stream of venue bookings. Oversee a well-planned, advanced rota for roaming fundraisers, ensuring venues are booked efficiently and necessary materials and equipment are in place. Key Requirements: Proven experience in venue coordination or similar roles, ideally in a fundraising or charitable context. Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a remote team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. High attention to detail and excellent administrative skills. Experience of preparing and presenting reports, providing and communicating options and making recommendations Experience in developing and working with databases Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for identifying new opportunities.
