A lovely family based in Beaconsfield is seeking a full-time nanny to join their household and assist with their baby due in March, a toddler, and two school-aged children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors, fitness, and healthy living. With two sporty children and the family owning health clubs, they are looking for someone enthusiastic about healthy eating, cooking, and outdoor activities. Recent experience in caring for children is essential, as is the ability to educate, guide, and build trust with them. Pet care for their Labrador is included in the role, so the candidate must be comfortable around dogs. A driver is required for this position, and the family is open to considering live-out candidates.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15 am to 6:15 pm ( The family would consider 4 days per week candidates too.)
Accommodation: Separate Cottage - 1 bedroom
Duties include:
Help with breakfast and getting kids ready for school, nursery, or clubs in the morning, including preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, packing school bags, and organising items needed for school.
Drop off and pick up kids from school, nursery, and after-school clubs.
Reset kids’ bedrooms each morning, including opening blinds and windows, tidying the rooms, changing nappy bins, restocking supplies, and organising closets with appropriately sized clothes.
Prepare weekly meal plans and cook meals from scratch, including breakfast, lunch, dinners, and snacks if needed.
Educate the kids on healthy eating and encourage them to try new foods.
Assist kids with homework, baking for school events, and other school or nursery projects.
Create educational playtime at home when kids are not at school or clubs.
Take kids to playgrounds, parks, and other agreed-upon places.
Ensure the kids' entrance is kept tidy, with jackets, shoes, and belongings stored in their correct locations.
Tidy and organise the kids' play area daily and ensure supplies are adequate and suitable for use.
Maintain an organised arts and crafts cupboard for the kids.
Care for the kids when not in school or nursery.
Act as the sole carer for the baby once they are of an age suitable for care (3-4 months+).
Manage all kids’ supplies, including nappies, wipes, bin liners, snacks, and milk bottles, and ensure adequate stock.
Provide babysitting and overtime assistance, particularly during busy periods like Q1 2025.
Assist with general household tasks, such as emptying dishwashers, washing clothes, and collecting items as needed.
