Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Glasgow, UKM, GB

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for fostering positive employee relations through providing employees and managers with effective advice and guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the UK HR Manager, as a key member of the site leadership team, this role works closely with the Plant Manager, diagnosing people priorities to build organisational and people capabilities, whilst ensuring high levels of employee engagement and compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with preference for a related field of study
* Over years of full-time work experience in Human Resources, with emphasis on generalist responsibilities, preferably within manufacturing environments
* A thorough knowledge of current UK employment law, with experience of its interpretation to formalise and implement company policies and practices
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* A strong sense of initiative, with the ability to make sound judgement decisions and work under minimal supervision to achieve agreed objectives
* An ability to adapt and be flexible in responding to the day-to-day needs of the site, being able to reprioritise as and when required
* Possessing a Continuous Improvement mindset, with the ability to problem solve and implement effective solutions which add value to our processes and operating models
* High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
* Ideally, you will be CIPD qualified or working towards a qualification
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Operate as the onsite HR Business Partner, supporting employee relations and being the main point of contact for the site
* Lead day-to-day operational activities of the HR function, including but not limited to onboarding, reporting, data analysis, and time and attendance system management
* Monitor key performance indicators, such as headcount, overtime, turnover, and absenteeism
* Ensure a legally compliant and cost-effective talent acquisition process is in place, to facilitate the hiring of the quantity and quality of capabilities required to meet current and future business needs
* Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to HR policies, taking into account employment legislation, best practices, and alignment with global manufacturing business where possible
* Advise leaders and employees on HR related matters to ensure compliance with company policy and applicable employment law and regulation including but not limited to absence management, disciplinary, capability, and grievance matters
* Support the achievement of site and business strategy, and champion organizational change, through the creation and delivery of the site annual people plan
* Partner with site leadership on site level initiatives including safety, culture, communication, and continuous improvement
* Create and foster opportunities which create a positive, dynamic culture where employees have a sense of belonging and an opportunity to contribute and grow professionally
* Effective and efficient talent development and succession planning, including supporting the company annual performance review and compensation process
* Lead, support, and contribute to global organisational HR projects
* Contribute to continuous improvement within the HR function, supporting HR transformation initiatives
