Job Purpose The Digital Marketing and Analytics Officer contributes to and supports the development of the “Making Life Better” charity proposition by monitoring existing data and identifying trends to inform the Marketing and Engagement delivery plan. Identify new methods for gathering and analysing data to support targeted service delivery across the charity’s services, manage digital marketing campaigns, and optimise online content and web platforms. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Actively promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture that supports the Charity’s purpose of Making Life Better and i-care values to increase morale, productivity and performance. Analyse and review all marketing campaigns and social media activity using appropriate analytical tools, produce weekly and monthly ROI reports to present to the team and deliver action plans based on the reports and results. Manage PPC and digital advertising campaigns to support Marketing and Engagement initiatives and provide campaign performance reports. In partnership with web development agencies, project manage the new HLH website development and, post-launch, manage and update website content ensuring best practice for accessibility and SEO. Manage Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), keyword research and online competitor analysis on a regular basis. Develop marketing insight dashboards from HLH databases to inform marketing campaigns based on customer trends, retention and promotion opportunities. Analysing user behaviour, conversion data, customer journeys and campaign performance. Manage HLH e-commerce platforms, reporting on key metrics, analysing and interpreting trends and informing all campaigns to ensure optimum ROI for the charity. Carry out regular digital reviews and recommend new platforms, upgrades or improvements to systems. Support the Head of Marketing and Engagement in providing structured data analysis to produce reports identifying key trends or patterns in customer behaviour to support our purpose of Making Life Better. Support services in identifying key user trends and analytics to assist in improved and targeted service delivery. Work closely with the Marketing and Engagement team to ensure content consistency across channels and promote sponsorship opportunities. Measure the effectiveness of advertising, marketing and communication strategies, and use data to proactively drive improvements and developments. ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES: To be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely, candidates will be able to provide evidence of the following: Experience Experience of creating digital marketing campaigns. Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics and Adwords including building custom reports and dashboards. Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to analyse and interpret volume data. Excellent working Knowledge of Excel in utilising formulas and managing data. Experience of data analysis and data management systems. Education and Qualifications Educated to degree level with an emphasis on marketing, statistics, data analysis, information management or relevant work experience. Skills / Attributes General Excellent written and verbal communication skills including high standard of written English. Proven data interpretation skills. Commercially minded, able to take initiative and contribute ideas. Skills/ Abilities specific to the post Working knowledge and experience of Facebook Business Manager Insights and analytics. Ability to analyse, model and interpret data. Working knowledge of Google analytics. Working knowledge of database management systems. Working knowledge of Content Management Systems such as Wordpress and/or Craft. Working knowledge of Shopify or similar e-commerce platform. Ability to predict business trends and customer behaviour. Interpersonal and Social Skills Ability to present statistical analysis in an easily understood format to all levels of the charity. Ability to work with sensitive information, maintaining confidence where required. Resilience under pressure when working to tight deadlines. Problem-solving skills.
