An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small team supporting undergraduate medical students within Northumbria trust. This is an integral role providing support, timetabling and coordination of clinical opportunities, assessments and teaching for medical students. Excellent attention to detail and outstanding customer service skills are required.
The post will be based at Wansbeck General Hospital, however trust wide travel will be required.
This post is part time, 30 hours per week over 4 days (Tuesday - Friday).
To support and assist in the planning and implementation of the undergraduate and Pre-Registration education within the Trust.
To create and develop teaching timetables and plan for student assessments.
To provide administrative support to the Medical Education Manager.
To provide support to the Teaching and Research Fellows (TRF’s) and Lecturer Practitioners (LP’s) in their teaching activities.
To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
