Description St Margaret’s Primary School - Ipswich IP4 2BT £24,404 per annum (pro rata) 28.75 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 3.15pm) 38 weeks per year Permanent Reference: 6956 Required ASAP We are seeking to recruit a caring, inspirational and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the learning and pastoral care of pupils. You will need to be able to form a positive and consistent relationship with pupils, focussing on creating a calm, secure and consistent working environment. This post will initially involve supporting individual children with Special Educational Needs. A skilful and experienced person is preferred but dedication to the role is more essential. We are looking for someone who: has experience of working with pupils across all age groups, including EYFS has the ability to think flexibly and use their own initiative in supporting the learning needs of our pupils is able to follow direction has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour is flexible and committed to working as part of a team has excellent communication, mathematics and English skills has up to date Safeguarding knowledge is passionate about supporting all children within an inclusive classroom environment.
