Location :Warrington/Liverpool/Cheshire Hours: Part-time/Flexible/Variable Hours considered Salary: Competitive Contract Type: Bank/Freelance (employed or self-employed) Spire Occupational Health (Spire OH) is looking for a dynamic, efficient and confident Occupational Health Technician to support our Occupational Health Services on bank basis (hours are flexible and/or, on an ad-hoc basis). This is an exciting opportunity for Spire OH where you will be independently managing health surveillance clinics, handling tasks on client sites and providing confidential, accurate reports in various formats. As an Occupational Health Technician, there will be daily travel client sites in Warrington and the surrounding locations in order to deliver our services. Therefore, access to a vehicle and valid driver's license is essential in this position. The role is open for Bank hours in the Warrington area, for 2 days initially (2-months) & then 1 day per week (Tuesdays) thereafter. Plus, any other clients that the candidate is open to supporting with, Essential Requirements: Experience or exposure in the Healthcare, Medical, Sport Science sector or similar. Level 3 Maths and English. Access to a vehicle and a valid driving license for travel to client sites. Strong IT Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking health screening procedures including general baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis. Testing for Drug and Alcohol. Carrying out fitness for work medicals. Undertaking health surveillance activities. Delivering health promotion activities. Ensuring all medical information is accurately recorded. Responsible for looking after the equipment and ensuring it is serviceable, clean, and fit for purpose. Providing support to the Occupational Health team when needed.
