Success Recruit are currently working with an outdoor advertising company who are seeking to recruit a Sign Fitter / General Operations Assistant, located at their UK head office based close to Braintree in Essex.
The successful Sign Fitter / General Operations Assistant will work closely within a small & busy team that ensure exceptional communication and customer service is always provided to their customers upon delivery of advertising products.
No previous experience required as full training will be provided; however, an attitude to learn on the job, support with various duties on and off site is essential, along with the ability to travel and occasionally stay away overnight in the week due to site locations covering the UK. This position would suit someone who has previously worked in delivery driving roles, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
The successful Sign Fitter will be expected to:
1. Have previously worked within a busy environment, demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines.
2. Able to listen & communicate effectively with customers face to face and over the telephone.
3. Hold a full UK driving licence and be confident driving to site.

Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to support and manage all customers' outdoor advertising space with the smooth supply, installation, deconstruction & clearing of site for the period agreed.
Duties to include but not limited to:
1. Working in a small team, supporting with all daily operations & logistics for customers.
2. Answering the telephone and supporting with enquiries.
3. Updating database & excel records, ensuring records are consistently updated.
4. Ensuring the advertising boards are meeting customer specifications & built correctly on site.
5. Deliver advertising boards to customer sites, installing & ensuring any concerns are managed.
6. Deconstructing advertising boards, clearing site ensuring it is left clean and tidy.
7. Ensuring head office is clean and tidy, managing any adhoc projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied position and will enjoy working in a team of two when delivering advertising boards to site. Our client specialises in various short- and longer-term projects & events. Travel will be expected to sometimes cover the UK, although the majority of work locations are Essex, London & surrounding local counties.
This position is yard / office based daily with no home working. Approx 2-3 days on the road a week; however, this changes depending on demand and the successful applicant must be flexible.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hour week, between 8am and 6pm
