We are working with a well-established company in the print and packaging industry, based in Letchworth, that is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This business specialises in high-quality printed packaging solutions, including luxury cartons, sleeves, and boxes, supplying to a range of industries such as food, cosmetics, and retail.
The Role:
As a Senior Logistics Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by coordinating deliveries, managing logistics administration, and working closely with production, client services, and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Generate dispatch labels and delivery notes
2. Prepare packing lists for the packing department
3. Coordinate with internal teams to manage dispatch timings
4. Arrange vehicle bookings for parcel carriers
5. Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, costs, and proof of deliveries (PODs)
7. Process purchase orders and update internal systems
8. Act as the first point of contact in the absence of the Logistics Manager
What We’re Looking For:
1. Strong administrative experience within a logistics or supply chain environment
2. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
3. Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
4. Confident using Microsoft Office and management information systems (MIS)
5. A team player with a positive and customer-focused approach
Additional Details:
1. Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (flexibility for overtime if required)
