Land Rights Liaison Officer Dewsbury Full Time £25,450k Plus Car or Allowance of £4,800 Flexible Benefits Summary Freedom Land & Estates Management Services are looking to expand our team by recruiting an Land Rights Liaison Officer, we are looking for an ambitious person who has aspirations to become a Wayleave Officer or Surveyor based out of our client’s offices in Dewsbury.. The role of Land Rights Liaison Officer is critical to the provision of a professional and expedient service to our customers and grantors and is key to maintaining good grantor relations. As a Land Rights Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for visiting customers and landowners to acquire simple consents for lower complexity connections work where third parties are affected. This is also a development role with potential for progression to Wayleave Officer / Surveyor. Salary is starting at £25,450, Plus a Car or Car Allowance of £4,800 Interviews will be taking place on Thursday 19th September – These will be based in Stockton on Tees office, TS18 3TU - but your role will be based in Dewsbury Please only apply if you able to attend on this day between the hours of 0915 to 1500. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: Acquire standard consents on lower complexity customer facing work such as; New connections, property changes, Payment re-assessments Substation access reviews Boundary & tenure enquiries Simple drainage claims Access arrangements for maintenance requiring site visits The role requires face to face meetings with customers and grantors and requires good communication skills, a certain degree of assertiveness and a high degree of organisational ability. The role is positioned between the Wayleave Support function and an existing team of Wayleave officers. Full training and mentoring will be provided. What we’re looking for : For someone who has a strong customer service background, the ability to problem solve, prioritise requests and you must thrive under pressure. and with the utmost regard for customer service this is a role for you. You will hold current qualifications including; Full clean driving licence (Essential) High standard of verbal communication skills and Customer Service (Essential) At least 5 GCSE’s including Maths & English at Grade C or above ( Essential) A minimum ‘A level’ or equivalent standard of education (Essential) Experience of the legal system and the Electricity Industry statutory background (Desirable) Previous experience of negotiations (Desirable) Desirable Requirements Previous Customer Service knowledge and experience Experience of the legal system Ability to handle multiple enquiries Benefits: We're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people.
