Job Title: Match Day Concierge
Accountable to: Senior Safety Stewards
Contract: Casual
Hours: Variable, confirmed a minimum of 10 days in advance. Hours will include evenings, weekends, and Public Holidays.
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Location: The Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton and other nominated Club venues.

The Role
We have opportunities for 2 Match Day Concierges to join us and take a proactive role in delivering a safe and outstanding customer experience to those attending an event in our Premium Member and Hospitality areas at The Cooper Associates County Ground and other nominated Club venues.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive approach to the highest standards of customer service and spectator safety. You’ll be the "face" of the venue - one of the first points of contact to warmly welcome spectators on arrival and deliver a fond farewell.
Your duties will include:
1. Checking Membership Cards, Match Day Tickets, and Guest Passes.
2. Providing proactive support and guidance to all attendees.
3. Keeping a tally of those entering and leaving the Premium area.
4. Enforcing the Premium Member and Hospitality Area Rules regarding access to the facility, dress code, and behavioral standards.
5. Assisting with any reasonable needs and/or requirements of the guests.
6. Carrying out any cleaning duties as required.
You will be committed to upholding Somerset County Cricket Club’s high standards and values, adhering to the Safety Team’s Code of Conduct and undertaking all necessary training relating to the role.
Amongst other things, you are punctual, approachable, and a team player who holds high standards of personal and professional integrity. You remain calm in pressurized situations and have a desire to learn from others.
You’ll need to be flexible and available to work unsociable hours over weekends, public holidays, and evenings. Please note, for consistency within our Premium Areas, a Match Day Concierge must be available for a minimum of 75% of event days.
You will need to be eligible to work in the UK.
Interviews will be held between 11 - 13 & 18 - 20 February 2025.
