We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Electrician to join our team based from our office in Leeds, LS10 1BL.
About the Role
Working alongside qualified electricians, you will be providing a range of services for social housing providers in domestic properties, within the Yorkshire Region. This will include but is not limited to reactive repairs, planned works, inspection and test, compliance and condition reports. Working efficiently and safely, in line with best practice, whilst achieving excellent customer experience results.
You will attend Leeds College of Building on day release, completing Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician, recording off the job learning and producing a portfolio of evidence in preparation for the end point assessment (EPA). The ability to travel to the college and the Hunslet office is essential.
You’ll have excellent demonstrable interpersonal skills and cultural awareness when dealing with colleagues, customers, and clients.
About You
* GCSE Maths, English & Science grade 4-9 (C-A*) or Functional Skills Level 2 is essential
* Proven reliability and excellent punctuality
* A positive, can-do attitude to work
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Ability to follow Health and Safety regulations
* Able to work as part of a team
* Capable of using your own initiative
* Have work experience or currently/previously studied Electrical Installation at any level
