We are now looking for them experienced Claim Handlers with experience in large losses, property damage and theft claims
Monday-Friday 8.30-5pm 1 hour lunch
Salary £24-£35k DOE
No selling and no fee income targets so no bonus scheme.

Job description;
Further exciting opportunities to join our growing business as we are looking to recruit further motor claims handlers, including credit hire claims handlers to deal with all aspects of motor claims, up to an individual handling authority, in accordance with company procedures and Legal Regulations and Protocols, ensuring claims are managed to successful conclusion. The role will involve the investigation, negotiation and settlement of claims, whilst ensuring potentially fraudulent claims are identified.
Duties will include;
• Proactively dealing with cases
• Logging motor FNOL claims.
• Making and assessing liability decisions.
• Processing emails from suppliers and third parties.
• Making payments to suppliers and third parties.
• Making and assessing liability decisions.

• Making payments to suppliers and third parties.
• Maintaining a case load, actioning where/when necessary.
• Setting and amending reserves on files when necessary.
• Assessing FNOL claims for any fraud concerns.
• Processing claims evidence.
• Ensuring reserves are appropriately amended
• Maintaining a regular review of inactive cases
• Maintaining effective working relationships
Candidates must:
• Be adaptable and a good team player with the ability to communicate effectively
• Must have experience with property damage, large losses and theft claims
• Have good time management and organisational skills
• Be confident in handling telephone queries
• Have an insurer/defendant background
It would be an advantage to have:
• Must have a sound understanding of claims processes
• Experience of handling some potentially fraudulent claims and / or personal injury claims and / or some involvement in the MOJ process
• The ability to negotiate best possible settlements and the ability to make sound decisions
