This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established local Government Department. If you enjoy working as part of a busy office and providing first-class assistance and advice to customers, then we want you to apply for this role.
The role starts as an Administration role but will include Call Handling once you have built up the knowledge required. There will also be general administration that results from the calls that you will deal with. Duties will include, but not be restricted to:
1. Call Handling regarding fines
2. Dealing with written queries
3. General Administration
4. Distribution of Post
5. General photocopying and filing
6. Creating and updating records on the in-house computer system
7. Data Entry
8. Ad Hoc duties as and when required by the client
9. Parking on site
10. Dealing with incoming calls and call backs
11. Giving advice to fine payers about how to make payments
12. Supporting those who want to pay but are struggling
13. Taking action against those who won't pay
14. Dealing with spreadsheets, calls and warrants
15. Standard DBS required
This is a 3 month initial assignment, depending on start date, but has the opportunity to be extended beyond that initial period. The job is based on a 37 hour week, working Monday to Friday. Free, secure parking is available at the location. This Client also offers an excellent Pay Rate of £11.44 per hour.
