About the role As a part of the Implementation Team, the Project Manager will lead projects to deliver Client Implementations, and Change Projects across our soppsopp, Motor Repair Network, Activate Parts and Activate Accident Repair brands. The Project Manager will primarily deliver Client Implementation projects, but will also successfully deliver a diverse range of change objectives over a variety of functions within the AGL Group. Changes could cover objectives relating to Product, Regulation, Technology, Clients, Process and Automation, enabling the business to adapt and grow. A seamless experience is paramount for our internal stakeholders and our clients, and the Project Manager will ensure our organisation and clients are supported, engaged, and operationally ready to go live. The Project Manager will lead the project, for the client and within the organisation, through our Implementation and Change Frameworks. They will ensure our technology, services and processes meet client and business needs on time, within scope and at the highest quality Key responsibilities - Lead and manage Projects with clients and across the organisation - Develop and own project plans, roadmaps, RAID logs, project communications and status reporting - Work with the client and our internal teams to ensure requirements are understood, processes are mapped and solutions are designed in line with client and internal needs - Partner with IT where system development is required and manage dependencies - Oversee impact analysis of proposed changes to existing systems and processes - Oversee testing to ensure all configuration and data is set up to the highest quality - Own project planning and manage, track and drive project tasks to completion - Own RAID identification and tracking, looking for opportunities to de-risk and identifying where escalation is required - Actively identify and engage stakeholders to build relationships and drive success - Lead Project Working Group meetings and adhere to the our Framework to enable communications and governance - Plan and organise training and communications to enable operational readiness in advance of going live - Collaborate with the Implementation Business Analyst throughout the Lifecycle of the project and support each other through delivery - Support the wider AGL Organisation and the Head of Implementation with project related Implementation Management and Project Management as required Skills and experience - Project Management / Implementation Management experience covering delivery over multiple functional areas including operations, contact centre, technology, and clients, 3 years desired - Strong Project Management skills and ability to use a variety of planning and delivery techniques - Strong communication skills and able to present roadmaps and plans to prospective clients during the sales process, existing clients and internal teams - Good Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Collaborative team working approach and ability to build strong relationships both in person and remote - Hardworking and can-do attitude, able to work in a fast-paced environment over multiple client Implementation & Change projects concurrently - Able to work under minimal direction in line with the Implementation Lifecycle and Change Framework - Logical, analytical, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Solution-orientated and always looking to deliver for our clients and internal stakeholders - Accident Management industry experience desired but not essential - Experience of implementation/onboarding new clients and changing services to existing clients in a project environment preferred - Experience of working with clients and prospective clients preferred - Ability to demonstrate Project Management over a diverse range of Client Implementation and Change objectives and a variety of functions such as technology, product, operations and contact centre teams is essential Benefits - 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) - Personal health cash plan - claim back the cost of things like dentist and optical check ups - Enhanced maternity / paternity / adoption / shared parental pay - Life assurance: three times basic salary - Free breakfasts and fruit - Birthday surprise for everybody What you can expect from us At Activate Group, looking after team members is a major priority.
