Job Title: Year 2 Primary Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Salary:
(salary negotiable depending on experience, matched to M scale)
Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Year 2 students in accordance with the national curriculum
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
* Create a positive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being
* Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required
Required Qualifications/Documents:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Relevant degree in Education or related field
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or apply for a DBS with us
* Right to work in UK
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching primary school students in the UK
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum and teaching best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional certifications or training in specific subject areas
* Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students
Working Conditions:
* Full-time, temporary position
* Classroom-based teaching with occasional outdoor activities
* Collaborative work environment with other teaching staff and school administration
