What you'll be doing? The Design and Technical teams are involved in all aspects of housing design and innovation, responsible for researching the best materials at the best cost. Our projects involve existing buildings and unique problems, driven by sustainability and value, and in compliance with evolving legislation. With an architectural or engineering background, team members gain expertise in design and project management in a stimulating environment. You will coordinate the needs of the technical team regarding all technical, engineering, and architectural aspects of the business from land acquisition to site completion. You will be expected to: Obtain technical drawings and approvals for efficient site start Help brief external consultants Support the preparation of technical specifications Help prepare the design programme Submit and pursue statutory enquiries, such as sewer connections Ensure NHBC/Building Regulations applications are approved Ensure working drawings comply with the approved Planning Scheme Assist in preparing brochure plans and sales area drawings Attend site progress meetings and carry out site inspections General liaison and coordination between internal and external parties Respond to site queries and resolve technical/construction issues What you'll need?
