QMS CO-ORDINATOR
£30k - £39k
Main Duties
1. Ensure all Safety rules and procedures are adhered to.
2. Encourage a safe and clean work area at all times.
3. Follow operating, health and safety and quality procedures and instructions.
4. Ensure that the standards required to fulfil the legal, BRCGS and ISO requirements are met.
5. Ensure all Production Staff are fully trained on all Work Stations.
6. Monitor Employee Training Records and re-train where necessary.
7. Maintain Records for BRCGS Audit including internal audits.
8. Amend agreed changes to QMS documents and procedures.
9. Participate in BRCGS and other Customer audits.
10. Mentor Production Staff to get the best out of them, showing them best practice.
11. Work closely with co-peers to improve the performance of the site.
12. Ensure best practices are always followed.
13. Carry out inductions for new staff and refreshers for existing staff.
14. Carry out risk assessments.
15. Assist with any relevant 8D and root cause analysis with QC.
16. Create and update product specifications.
17. Attend the morning meeting.
18. Be open to personal development and external training e.g. H&S, IOSH.
19. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.
20. Personnel may be asked to perform other duties or jobs following appropriate training.
Requirements
1. Must have experience in a similar role.
2. Must be competent in Microsoft Office package at basic level.
3. Must be methodical and structured.
4. Must have a good eye for detail.
Working Hours
Shift pattern 08:00 - 16:30 Monday - Friday (40 hours per week/Half an hour unpaid lunch).
