Job Title: Payment Compliance Associate
Location: Prestatyn
Part-Time 36 hours per week
Shift times: 9:00 – 17:30
Fixed Term - 9 months
Salary: £26,403 (pro-rated £25,346.88)
We’re looking for a Payment Compliance Associate to join our Finance team based in Prestatyn.
As the Payment Compliance Associate, you will be reporting to the Payment Compliance Manager. You will assist in the group-wide management of recording, resolution, and payment of accounts that have been short paid or denied by the payor or accounts in a credit status.
The Payment Compliance Associate will be involved in frequent interaction with facility staff, Senior Management, Clinical Teams, and internal and external teams to assist in the resolution of the accounts.
What you’ll do:
* Ensuring timely follow up with payors once the facility teams have adjudicated on the reasons and given instruction to achieve resolution and recovery of balance.
* Ensure accuracy of input coding and maintenance into the Meditech coding custom defined screen (CDS).
* Business Partnering with non-finance in order to extract financial information and aid Revenue on key financial insight.
* Assist analysis of information, reporting, problem-solving, and decision-making.
* Champion continuous improvement to facility, senior finance, and clinical teams.

* The ability to analyse process flows, identify areas to improve efficiency and maintain an appropriate control framework.
* Very strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner at the senior management level.
* The ability to process large volumes of transactions and prioritize worklists.
* Team player with the ability to build effective working relationships.
* Working collaboratively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.
* Demonstrated analytical skills and excellent computer/systems skills with demonstrated spreadsheet and database expertise.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills ensuring messages are understood across the business (internal/external stakeholders).
* Strong attention to detail.
