Exciting Opportunity for a Prison Cleared Mental Health Nurse in Nottingham
We are seeking a Prison Cleared Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic mental health team at HMP Nottingham on a full-time basis. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £29-£38 per hour, depending on shift, with an initial contract of 3 months. Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00, but there is flexibility to extend these to 07:30 – 18:00 for those interested in taking on additional responsibilities within the Primary Care Pathway.

What you will do:
* Provide high-quality mental health care to inmates, ensuring their well-being and safety.
* Administer medication and offer therapeutic interventions within the Primary Care Pathway.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
* Conduct mental health assessments and participate in case reviews.
* Maintain accurate records and files according to regulatory standards.
* Offer guidance and support to patients, providing emotional and psychological aid as necessary.
Requirements of the Prison RMN/Nurse:
* Relevant nursing qualification and an active NMC Registration (Mental Health).
* Must have Prison Clearance and experience working within a prison.
