Role Profile
The Project Accountant will take responsibility for project-level financials, managing cost tracking, billing, and gross profit analysis across multiple projects. This role offers the chance to work closely with operations teams and drive improvements in project reporting and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain cost value reconciliations (CVRs)
* Lead on gross profit and margin analysis across projects
* Review and manage project budgets and forecasts
* Oversee project invoicing and accrued income
* Collaborate with project managers and commercial teams
* Provide accurate and timely financial reporting
* Responsible for building relationships with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers
* Working closely with Debtors to minimise any aged debt issues and actively monitor credit control
Person Profile
* A qualified accountant but applicants that are qualified by experience who can evidence they’ve succeeded in a similar role will also be considered
* Adept in data analysis, working with multiple data sources to create insight and plans
* Commercial and business acumen
* Skilled in reconciliations, forecasting, and reporting
* Analytical, organised, and proactive
* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
