Health & Safety is a vital component of our business. This is an exciting role within our HSEQ team which will assist Site & Factory Management in achieving their health, safety, environmental and quality aims to ensure they remain legislatively compliant, and adhere to the principles of our HSEQ management system. As a HSEQ Trainee you will be learning on the job, you will be responsible for assisting the implementation the safety and environmental management controls and procedures within Clarke. Your role will be to complete assigned work to the best of your ability, ask questions to move forward and work within proposed timescales. Along with the rest of our team, you will help us deliver dream projects for our clients on large scale construction projects. Key Deliverables As a HSEQ Trainee, you are required to: Balancing Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety matters. Supporting to devise, implement and maintain Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures, processes, standards and specifications in relation to ISO, & 14001. Assisting with site inspections. Conduct accident investigations along with the Health & Safety Team and assisting with any RIDDOR requirements. Assisting with audits as required; provide support to the Health & Safety Team to plan and investigate. Along with the Health & Safety Team, supervise and coordinate work systems to ensure that Clarke meet the highest quality and environmental standards. Supporting the management of practices to ensure that working conditions are favorable and safe. Excellent communication and engagement skills at all levels of business. Any other duties relevant to the role as required by the Head of HSEQ. About The Role Personnel Specification This position will require you to be accepted onto a relevant part-time Health & Safety course course to be studied will be shared prior to appointment. You will work alongside your studies.
