Key Responsibilities: Manage the school's accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Prepare and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly reports. Process and review invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner. Assist with end-of-year financial procedures and annual audits. Support senior leaders in financial planning, decision-making, and reporting. Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions, including income and expenditure. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial legislation and reporting standards. What qualities are we seeking? Proven experience in finance or accounting, ideally within the education sector. Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial systems. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. Knowledge of school funding and relevant financial legislation is desirable.
