Summary: Sharp Clinical Services (UK) Ltd, are delighted to announce the hiring of a new role to the business - ' Strategic Pricing Manager'. This role is being hired as a Hybrid Role, from our UK offices in Rhymney, South Wales. Reporting to the Global Head of Pricing. The Strategic Pricing Manager has a critical role in monitoring market trends, developing pricing strategies and providing integrated pricing support and vision across all verticals, whilst ensuring alignment with company’s corporate objectives, revenue and profitability targets. The role also encompasses the end-to-end development, implementation and management of high quality, commercially competitive proposals. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage RFP proposal process and timelines to exceed customer expectations and facilitate efficient, high quality and timely delivery of proposals that are fully aligned with Sharp’s commercial and financial objectives. Schedule and manage RFP related calls in accordance with submission timelines. Work with internal customers to translate operational strategies into cost competitive solutions that align with the commercial and financial requirements of the company. Manage the proposal approval process in accordance with Global Pricing Policy. Analyse market trends, competitor pricing and customer behaviour to support the development of alternative pricing strategies. Monitors effectiveness of alternative pricing strategies and proactively adapts as necessary. Contributes to discussions on business pricing and delivery strategy direction to ensure consistent application of operational and commercial strategies globally. Provides expert review and guidance on strategies for all verticals. Key customer interface for the Pricing team, ensuring consistency in approach globally across clients / client types. Contributes to the development, implementation and maintenance of our pricing tool. Involvement in departmental improvement initiatives. Provides advice, support and mentorship as needed to other team members. Completion of internal systems as appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work. Requirements Min 8 Years relevant industry experience in a pricing, finance or analytical role. Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective pricing strategies. Experience in pricing analysis and cost-benefit analysis. Proven track record of identifying pricing issues and developing effective solutions. Experience in working with cross-functional teams. Excellent computer skills – highly efficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with Salesforce an advantage Experience in developing clinical trial depot strategies an advantage.
