About the role
As the Contract Support Officer for Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd, you will be working closely with NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) Commissioners of the Community Equipment contract. You will have day-to-day contact with leads at York and North Yorkshire Place.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
1. Reviewing and acting upon email requests by Clinicians to update their permissions or add them to the system which allows them to order equipment.
2. Managing the TCES email inbox for any special requests and general queries that need to be resolved or escalated to the Commissioning team.
3. Working with Commissioners to ensure the accuracy of the permission settings and team set up within the TCES system.
4. Sending out communications to Clinicians via the TCES system.
5. Supporting the development of a regular Newsletter.
6. Publishing the Newsletter on the TCES system.
7. Updating the monthly Finance Performance and Quality pack with all key data.
8. Providing reporting and analysis of prescribing behaviours.
9. Providing regular reports as required to the Commissioning team such as the spend on Nebulisers.
10. Establishing and ongoing development of a new suite of reporting/analysis resulting in production of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and the ongoing maintenance of.
11. Using the new suite of reports and existing Medequip contract reports to describe trends.
12. Updating TCES permissions for Clinicians aligned to the agreed process.
13. Establishing and developing ongoing relationships with provider organisations to support the ongoing review of the permissions and set up of the TCES system.
14. Managing Prescriber new user requests, set up of accounts and responding to prescriber queries.
15. Ensuring the "Documents and Links" section of TCES is kept up to date.
16. Working with the Operations Support Manager on the analysis of queries and complaints to fully understand opportunities to drive improvements.
17. Providing adhoc analysis requests from commissioners.
18. At key meetings, the postholder will be across boundary representative who will be key in shaping improved service outcomes.
19. Working across the Medequip Depot Teams to explore improvements in response to lessons learned.
