Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing complex transport planning projects with the support of Directors and the Transport team
2. Providing consultancy advice that demonstrates a sound understanding of client requirements
3. Delivering projects that balance competing stakeholder interests
4. Leading the development and delivery of transport planning projects
5. Ensuring effective resource management in project execution
Job Requirements:
1. Experience in transport planning within a private consultancy or local authority environment
2. Understanding of transport planning policy and project delivery
3. Experience with Transport Statements, Assessments, and Travel Plans
4. Familiarity with access strategy work, parking strategies, sustainable transport, S106 and S278 agreements, NPPF, DfT guidelines, and Manual for Streets
5. Proficiency in using the TRICS database
6. Experience with PICADY and ARCADY
7. Understanding of LINSIG for different modelling scenarios
8. Knowledge of micro-simulation and strategic models/modelling
9. Junction design skills including priority, roundabout, and signals
10. Degree in a related subject (a master's degree in transport is desirable)
