Reporting to our Programming & Partnerships Manager, you’ll be part of a team of 6 other Service Assistants welcoming people to the Ed Kluz installation at Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal. The core part of your job is to provide a warm welcome to visitors who would like to experience ‘Between chaos and light’ in Fountains Hall. You will be helping to manage the flow of visitors arriving to see the artwork as well as providing information about the artwork and the history of Fountains Hall.We will make sure you have all the information you need to provide an amazing experience for our visitors. You can expect to meet many different people and will have responsibility for the security of the artwork and evacuating Fountains Hall in case of an emergency. On occasion you may be asked to cover other appropriate duties related to our visitor programme.Most importantly, you’ll be talking to visitors, answering their questions and making sure they can find everything they need to enjoy their day.
