We're recruiting for the newly created role of Talent Development Manager to join our People team based at Dava Street in Glasgow.
Reporting to our Director of People, the post holder will lead the development and implementation of talent strategies aligned with our strategic priorities, incorporating L&D, recruitment and our unique People First approach. The Talent Development Manager will identify current and future skills and talent needs, design and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy, and establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent initiatives that will support Right There employees through the full employee lifecycle.
We are Right There, a charity celebrating our th anniversary. We provide tailored support for people, at home and in the community. We are here for people who are living with the effects of homelessness, poverty, substance use or family breakdowns.
Last year we supported almost individuals, helping to prevent them from becoming homeless or separated from the people they love. Every person's story is unique, and everyone's route home is different - it doesn't matter what the situation is - we're not here to judge, only to help.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Develop and implement talent strategies
2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address current and future talent needs
3. Establish metrics and KPI's to measure the effectiveness of talent development initiatives and processes
4. Design and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract, select and retain top talent
5. Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, networking and relationship building
6. Create and and manage learning and development programmes to build employee skills, knowledge and competencies
7. Conduct training needs assessments in order to prioritise resources and develop relevant training programs and materials
8. Drive the implementation of the People First system, fostering a supportive and psychologically healthy work environment
9. Lead the People First Coordinator and Practitioner Psychologist to embed People First internally and externally, creating a recognised and cohesive programme that complements the wider Talent strategy

We’re looking for someone that has extensive experience foremost in Learning & Development and you will be familiar with various training methodologies including e-Learning and in-person training. Experience of recruitment at a strategic level is also required with the ability to develop and execute long-term talent plans. You will be an excellent communicator and inspirational leader, skilled in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership.

10. The post holder will report to our Director of People
11. Your normal working hours are 35 per week worked Monday to Friday
12. Annual leave entitlement of hours (equivalent to 6 weeks) pro rata per year in the first year, rising to hours (equivalent to 8 weeks) pro rata in the second year. This is inclusive of public holidays
13. You will be automatically enrolled into the People's Pension in the month that you will complete 3-months of employment, provided you meet the auto-enrolment criteria
