Job Title: Primary Curriculum Specialist
Norwich City College is seeking a highly skilled Primary Curriculum Specialist to join our initial teacher training programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of primary trainee teachers, conducting observation visits, delivering centre-based curriculum sessions, and assessing trainee progress towards QTS.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with experience in trainee and teacher development in the primary classroom and through delivery of professional development sessions tailored to the needs of primary trainee and qualified teachers. They will have a thorough knowledge of the Teachers' Standards and the Core Content Framework, as well as experience in assessment of progress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of primary trainee teachers
* Conduct observation visits and deliver centre-based curriculum sessions
* Assess trainee progress towards QTS
* Develop and deliver professional development sessions for primary trainee and qualified teachers
Requirements:
* Qualified teacher with experience in trainee and teacher development
* Thorough knowledge of the Teachers' Standards and the Core Content Framework
* Experience in assessment of progress
Working Arrangements:
This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work 28.8 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The salary will be £32,732 - £39,096 per annum pro rata.
