Salary: £35,219 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Work pattern: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Wheatley Homes East, Bilston, Midlothian, EH20 9LZ

Our Repairs team, based at our Bilston workshop, delivers repairs, maintenance and investment services for customers in Wheatley Homes East properties, as well as for people living in Wheatley’s other subsidiaries in the east of Scotland.
About the role
We’re looking for Qualified Multi-Skilled Operatives (Plumber) to join our team at Wheatley Homes East.
The role involves carrying out repairs in our customers’ homes, providing our on-call service, and preparing void properties to re-let.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a positive attitude, a willingness to embrace a vibrant and fast-paced working environment, whilst showing accountability for their workload from beginning to end. You should also be a great team player with strong problem-solving skills.
You must have a relevant trade qualification for plumbing and can multi-skill in other trades. Experience of working in social housing is desirable but not essential.
A clean driving license is essential, and the posts are subject to a basic disclosure check.
