Site Manager (Groundworks) Slough, Berkshire £60,000- £80,000 Benefits (will also consider CIS day rate) Our client, a specialist groundworks and civil engineering contractor with UK wide coverage, are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee commercial projects in Berkshire. Locations include- Slough, Maidenhead and Reading regions. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of groundwork activities, including excavation, drainage, foundations, and paving on commercial construction projects. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Lead and manage on-site teams, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate with the contracts manager, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression. Monitor and maintain site records, including progress reports and health & safety documentation. Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager overseeing Groundworks' projects Strong knowledge of groundwork processes, including excavation, drainage, concrete works, and utilities. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and liaise with stakeholders. A proactive approach to health and safety, with a thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations. Full UK driving licence. Relevant CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS certification, and first aid qualifications are highly desirable
